Bramall Hall

One of the biggest challenges in the restoration of Bramall Hall is ensuring that modern engineering solutions do not compromise the historical integrity of the building. The restoration team is carefully integrating climate-resilient features while maintaining the hall’s Tudor-era authenticity.

Finding materials that matched the original Tudor-era construction was a complex task. The team sourced reclaimed stone, lead, and timber to ensure the new roof is blending seamlessly with the existing structure. Additionally, brick chimneys and cast iron and lead downpipes are being restored using traditional methods to preserve the hall’s architectural character.
